Everybody in Leiden is collecting money for Serious Request. AEGEE also wants to donate as much money as possible to charity. And not only AEGEE-Leiden, but all the Dutch locals are helping! And we’re going to do what we are good at: hitch-hiking!
The idea is as follows:
1) Sign yourself up at the board of Leiden or Groningen (e-mail info is below).
2) Gather as much sponsors as you can find to sponsor your hitchhiking-couple (this could be everybody; grandparents, mother, father.. etc!).. You could ask donations per kilometer or per visited local.. be creative!
3) Hitchhike within the given amount of time to as much Locals within the Netherlands.. You will get a special card from the organizers on which you will receive a stamp from every visited local.
4) Come by at Leiden when we will hand over the total amount of money to the organizers… (exact date will be announced later)
5) After this all.. come party with us at Leiden, where we will throw a party for all the hitchhiking couples!
